Our Idea and Mission

In Brief

Why we created Wheel of Fortune

We want every visitor to a sports event to leave not only with a prize, but also with the feeling that they helped someone.

Therefore, part of the funds from each spin we direct to charity.

Spin the wheel - give joy to yourself and a chance for a child to play sports.

Detailed Description

The Wheel of Fortune at National Bank Open 2026 was born from a simple idea: sports events should create lasting memories while making a positive impact on the community. Our team of event organizers and sports enthusiasts designed a transparent, fun experience where every participant wins something tangible.

Our mission is to make sports accessible to all children across Canada. Through partnerships with local sports clubs and schools, the "Sports for Every Child" program provides equipment, coaching scholarships, and event access to youth who might otherwise miss out.

Community involvement is at the heart of what we do. Volunteers from Toronto and Montreal help run our tent, and local businesses contribute prizes. Together, we turn a festival attraction into a force for good.

How the Charity Mechanism Works

Transparent and Honest: Where the Money Goes

100% of the symbolic fee ($2-$5) goes to prizes and charity. Here is a typical breakdown:

  • 60-70% - prizes for participants (merchandise, food, experiences)
  • 30-40% - "Sports for Every Child" program for each child

We publish detailed financial reports after each event. No "gray" schemes - only pure charity.
